There is increasing evidence that migratory shorebird populations throughout the world are declining. Australia, home to 38 species of migratory shorebird during the non-breeding season, is uniquely placed to assess the impacts of these threats on shorebird numbers.
Shorebirds 2020 is Australia's national shorebird monitoring program. Birds Australia seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated person with excellent scientific, organisational and communication skills to manage and deliver this important program. Join a dynamic team in a highly respected conservation and research organisation for a nine-month contract for the current phase of the program, with ongoing work expected.

Location: Carlton, Melbourne, Victoria, but location is ultimately negotiable.
Salary: $53,000-$65,000 plus 9% superannuation.
