The San Francisco International Ocean Film Festival is coming to Australia, bringing with it an array of documentaries, narratives and animations from around the world that explore all aspects of our great oceans. The films vary in length from 2 minutes to an hour, and focus on topics such as conservation, wildlife, exploration, culture and sport.
The festival will be making six stops while in Australia.

Earth Wise Short Film Festival

The Earth Wise Short Film Festival is an innovative community event that will screen creative short films about our environment as well as provide a forum for discussion. The films will aim to raise awareness about sustainable living and issues related to how human actions can affect our planet. The festival is non-for-profit and is organised by a group of students from TAFE NSW, Ultimo College. The event is a local activity supporting World Environment Day (WED) – an annual event aimed at being the biggest and most widely celebrated global day for positive environmental action. On 5 June 2011, millions of people from countries all over the world will be celebrating WED. Be a part of the celebration! Be a part of the Earth Wise Short Film Festival!
