The Queensland Conservation Council (QCC) is the peak not-for-profit coordinating body for conservation and environment groups across the State. We are looking for a Campaign Coordinator to expand the work of QCC and support its member groups in campaigning for environmental protection. The Queensland Government has just announced it intends to help pay for Indian coal mogul Adani to build Abbot Point and the Carmichael mine. GetUp members have funded massive legal challenges, rallied in the streets, run newspaper ads against banks, shared videos exposing the atrocious track record of Adani, successfully lobbied investment banks to rule out investing in these projects and so much more. They are seeking a Field Organiser who will help organise offline campaign in Northern Queensland to defend the Reef and ensure that the Reef is the number 1 issue of the State election.
