Join Professor Lesley Hughes and renowned naturalist Ian Hutton on an adventure to one of Australia’s most exquisite natural wonders – the World Heritage-listed Lord Howe Island.
16 – 30 August, 2014
Prove your eco credentials this August by catching a matinee performance at this year’s Performance Space: Score season. As a civic-minded, green organisation, Performance Space’s initiative this year is to donate half the price of each ticket for a matinee performance to Climate Council. The Climate Council is an independent not-for-profit organisation funded by the public whose mission is to provide independent, authoritative climate change information to the Australian public. There will be four matinees across three Saturdays in August so book now and know that you’re doing a little bit extra to support action on climate change. In 2012, 50 per cent of matinee seats were awarded free to those who could prove they had arrived by environmentally sustainable means, be that cycling, walking or taking public transport.
Where: Carriageworks, 245 Wilson Street, Eveleigh, NSW 2015.
When: Performances are: 16 August 2pm - Keep Everything; 23 August 12:30pm - One Thing Follows Another, 2pm - Hiding in Plain Sight; 30 August 2pm - Maximum.
Cost: $35/$25 with 50% of ticket price donated to Climate Council.
