We are recruiting a Sustainability Manager for a large National community based organization. Reporting directly to a Steering Committee and a Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating the implementation of the organization’s environmental sustainability strategy and program. This will include the following responsibilities:

• Measurement and reporting of the organization resource usage
• Design of policies to improve resource efficiency
• Development of sustainability tools and resources for communication to staff
• Change management working across the organization
• Cooperation with the HR, Marketing and Corporate Affairs Divisions
• Development of employee and stakeholder engagement programs.
• Coordination of the organization’s environmental sustainability initiatives
• Risk management and compliance
• Representation of the organization on sustainability issues with external stakeholders
• Identification of operational risks
• Compliance with reporting requirements under the NGER Act…

You have a previous experience in sustainability management in a large organization and experience in marketing/communications, corporate strategy. You can also demonstrate a proven record in achieving environmental sustainability outcomes and change management. You have managed a diverse group of projects and initiatives and you have a passion for sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Tertiary qualifications in either social sciences, engineering/technology or environmental/sustainability disciplines would be ideal.
