Mosman Council are seeking a qualified team player with at least five years experience in the environmental management field with high level project management, organisational and communication skills, demonstrated experience in a supervisory role and thorough knowledge of environmental/sustainability issues in a local government context. A full time position, your projects include: development and delivery of environmental education programs; coordination and implementation of environmental/sustainability projects/initiatives; review, coordination and implementation of environmental plans and policies; research, data collection, interpretation and reporting; design and delivery of presentations for a wide range of stakeholders; coordination of contracts as required; and representation on professional groups as relevant.

Location: Mosman, NSW.
Salary: $1271.89 – $1364.00 per week (plus super).

A range of promotional resources have been developed for you to inspire people in your community and networks to be one of the 500 volunteer convenors being recruited for NSW Energymark. The program brings people together in small groups to learn about energy and climate change issues, and discuss what they can do to make a difference. You don’t need to know a lot about energy and climate change to participate.

The Australian Antarctic Division have a range of job vacancies in Antarctica for the 2011–12 summer and the 2012 winter. Periods of employment vary depending on the type of job. You will undertake research into important areas such as the interactions between the ice, oceans and atmosphere and how these affect marine life and global weather patterns.
