Have you got a burning passion for sustainability? Are you 21 or younger? And do you live in Victoria? If you answered yes, yes and yes, then G has caught wind of something that could be right up your alley.

If you're handy with any kind of recording tool - your mobile phone camera, your neighbour's camcorder, a friend's computer camera, or even the real professional stuff - Future Shots might be for you. It's a sustainability-themed short film challenge that looks like a whole lot of fun!

The idea is to put together your very own short film masterpiece looking at the question: 'Sustainability: what's it all about?'

It's a prime opportunity to sit down and really have a think about what sustainability means to you, and how you believe we can achieve it, then to have a blast committing these thoughts to film. And what better time, too, with the recent Youth Decide survey revealing just how passionate young Aussies are about the environment (see our news story here) - this could be a great opportunity to get your green thoughts, ideas and messages out there.

From the kooky and abstract to the stark and serious, there's plenty of ways to approach the challenge - and you never know, you might find the hidden Steven Spielberg within!

If this sounds like your kind of thing, hop to it - entries are closing on November 6. For more info check out www.futureshots.com.au.

(And if you're not a young Victorian but still like idea of making a short green film, why not shoot your own and put it on YouTube for the world to see? And don't forget to tell us about it in the comments below!)
