Green Living Week: part of the Energise Enterprise Festival

The Master Builders Association Victoria is hosting Green Living Week

From 23 - 27 August 2010, the Master Builders Association Victoria (MBAV) is hosting Green Living Week -three events to bring together architects, builders, tertiary students, and homeowners or developers interested in sustainable design and building technologies and practice. MBAV is running a nationally accredited short course to equip participants with information and tools on building sustainability options into domestic constructions. The course will provide information on how to meet the demands of regulators and clients and where to go to access ongoing specialist support and advice. During the week, you can also visit some of Victoria’s most environmentally friendly homes when they open their doors to the public for one day to showcase a range of sustainable features and building design. Don’t miss the MBAV Green Living Conference bringing together a range of high profile speakers to talk about sustainable building and construction practices now and in the future. The Green Living Conference will challenge current community perceptions and the need for drivers of change in the industry. It will look at demand for green construction and where it is heading and provide practical building advice, products as well as tours of sustainable commercial buildings.
